Matt Carmichael is a 20 year old tenor saxophonist from Scotland. As a bandleader he has performed at festivals including Love Supreme, Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival USA, Celtic Connections and clubs including The Vortex Jazz club, Pizza Express Soho. His quartet features three of the most in-demand young musicians on the Scottish scene; BBC Young jazz musician finalist Fergus McCreadie, UK Young Drummer of the year Tom Potter and Bassist Ali Watson.
